Gate News bot message, according to Jin10 report, U.S. President Trump stated on social media: "I told Tim Cook of Apple (AAPL.O) a long time ago that I want the iPhones sold in the U.S. to be made and produced in the U.S., not in India or anywhere else. If not, Apple has to pay at least a 25% tariff to the U.S."
Affected by this statement, Apple (AAPL.O) plummeted in pre-market trading, dropping nearly 4%.
