Cryptographers play an important role in building blockchain, mainly reflected in three aspects: research, implementation, and product innovation. As experts in Cryptography, we not only need to conduct innovative research in Cryptography but also apply research results to actual products and propose new ideas based on existing technologies.
In the design of Sui, we combined external research advancements with internal innovative dialogue. For instance, the development of technologies such as Cryptography provided us with inspiration, and based on this, we developed new features like the Zero-Knowledge Login (ZK Login). Our team not only focuses on theoretical research but also emphasizes putting innovation into practice to provide users with usable solutions.
The design of the Move language helps us achieve these Cryptography innovations while providing developers with a safer experience. Compared to Solidity, Move offers better security, especially in preventing reentrancy attacks. In addition, Move's object-oriented features and parallelization capabilities allow us to design more interesting and efficient algorithms.
Regarding on-chain storage for NFTs, I believe this is very important for realizing dynamic NFTs and enhancing their practicality. Sui's data structure allows NFTs to be easily updated and read on-chain, providing more possibilities for application scenarios such as games. In contrast, off-chain storage may face issues such as centralization and latency.
Looking ahead to the future of Sui, I am particularly excited about several aspects. First, Sui supports multiple authentication methods, which enhances compatibility with other blockchains and wallets. Second, we introduced zero-knowledge proofs and privacy protection technologies from the very beginning, providing developers with the tools to build privacy-friendly applications. Finally, our developer support team is able to respond quickly to developers' needs, helping them realize innovative ideas.
