According to Deep Tide TechFlow news, on June 1, monitoring by the on-chain security analysis agency PeckShield reported that there were approximately 20 major Crypto Assets security incidents in May 2025, resulting in a total loss of $244.1 million, a decrease of 39.29% compared to the previous period.

Among them, the Cetus protocol suffered an attack of 220 million USD, making it the largest event of the month. Currently, the Cetus protocol has successfully frozen 157 million USD of the stolen funds along with SUI, while the remaining 63 million USD is still in the attacker’s wallet. Other significant events include the Cork protocol suffering an attack of 12 million USD, and a suspected hacker incident related to North Korea causing a loss of 5.2 million USD, with MBU token and MaplestoryU losing 2.2 million USD and 1.2 million USD respectively.
