Agora: Iagon launches a community-driven Decentralization file ecosystem
Agora: Iagon's New File Ecosystem
Iagon recently launched a brand new document ecosystem called Agora. This system will be developed in collaboration with community members to jointly plan the future direction.
Meaning of Agora
The term Agora originates from ancient Greek, referring to a public gathering place and symbolizing the birthplace of democracy. The choice of this name is due to the many similarities between the meaning of Agora and this file system. The Agora protocol will serve as a public file management system, where all uploaded files are visible to everyone, possessing permanence and timestamp features, ultimately managed by the community autonomously. In short, the Agora platform will allow all users to share various content files.
Usage Process
The first version of Agora focuses on the NFT field, allowing individuals and businesses to publish creative content. During the Beta testing phase, the system will limit the number of initial content files to test scalability and the community's management capabilities.
Users only need to bind their Cardano wallet with the Agora protocol to use the file management system. This system will be upgraded in the future to a complete NFT trading market. Users can showcase and share their content or conduct buy and sell transactions. At a basic level, user identities will remain pseudonymous, with only the public wallet address visible.
To maintain the decentralized nature, KYC verification is not mandatory. However, users can choose to complete KYC to prove the authenticity of the content. This helps other users identify the reliability of the content, providing a safer guarantee for the value of uploaded content. The KYC program will be launched after beta testing.
AI-driven Community Protection Solutions
After the completion of the Beta version, Agora will add more features, such as support for more file formats and community commenting functionality. To address the potential emergence of "illegal" or "offensive" content, Agora has designed social and technical mechanisms to mitigate the impact of such content.
From a technical perspective, Agora will provide a dual AI-driven solution for identifying abnormal content and behaviors that violate community rules. The AI system will automatically identify and isolate non-compliant content. Additionally, two social mechanisms, "Agora Reputation Score" and "Illegal Content Isolation," will be introduced.
Agora Reputation Score (ARS)
Each user will receive an Agora Reputation Score (ARS). The initial score is 0 and can be increased or decreased through various activities:
Users will be categorized based on ARS scores, and high-level users can enjoy special privileges, such as exclusive access and premium content subscriptions.
Illegal Content Isolation
All content is subject to ongoing review by the community and AI systems. Content marked as "suspicious" will be removed from public sharing status. Agora will also establish a "Review Committee" responsible for the final handling of isolated documents. Committee members must complete the KYC process and be at least 21 years old to ensure compliance and protect minors.
Vision of Agora
Agora aims to become a community-driven social engagement platform, ultimately evolving into a fully functional NFT trading market. Users can interact, share, and purchase content here, achieving decentralized creative communication and community discussions.
It is important to note that the above content is only a preliminary overview of the system structure, and the final version may be adjusted based on community feedback. The future development of Agora will rely on the continued participation and feedback of users.
